Yes,  I finally made some calls on Friday and I had one more to make today…there are a lot of limo places in Rockford, IL!

It came down to the big three – all out of Rockford – Fantasy Limousine, AAA Quality Limousine & Classic Limousine.

Classic Limousine may be the official limo service of Cheap Trick and all, but I wasn’t overly impressed with the guy I spoke with. He didn’t seem too overly-anxious to help me. I asked him about pricing and he informed me that all of their pricing was on-line. Wow, thanks for that, but a) the pricing only went up to 5 hours and b) maybe I wanted to speak to a real person. By the time I got off the phone (which was pretty quickly) they weren’t even in the running. That was just my own impression of course – maybe someone else will have a totally different experience; obviously they do a lot of business in the Rockford area.

The man at AAA was much friendlier and much more helpful – and his pricing was definitely better than Classic Limousine. Plus, he had a really good selection of vehicles to choose from, which I was pretty impressed with. He’s got a limo cruiser that has tiled floor, mirrored ceiling, a Karaoke machine, a 42″ plasma…all kinds of stuff! I joked that no one would want to get out of the bus & go to my reception!

But Fantasy Limo totally won out – he beat out AAA Limo’s pricing, he was SUPER friendly and incredibly helpful with suggestions and asking me questions to make sure we got what we wanted, plus he just really impressed me. I am a very happy camper.

Yay.
